Restricted Stock Rules

RULES FOR USE OF MY STOCK

If you use any of my stock, it is a requirement that you give credit where credit is due, and link back to me. This means a link on your deviation, and a link on my stock deviation. If I do find anyone that has used stock here, and has not given proper credit, I will bite hard. This is extremely important.

Stock may not be used for commercial purposes such as book illustrations, websites, or sold products without my written permission. This also means you CANNOT USE THEM OUTSIDE OF DA WITHOUT MY EXPRESS WRITTEN PERMISSION. I am on here answering messages nearly every day, and if you want to make prints, just ask me first. That's all. Current list of those deviants with prints permission can be found at the bottom of this journal.

Please, respect my models. Not only are they all beautiful people, but they have feelings too, and put a lot of modeling hours in with me. Do not put them in pornographic images. THIS MEANS do not INFLATE them for fetish purposes either. Please, to each their own, but don't make me come after you.

I take suggestions, and sometimes requests. You must note me, and allow reasonable time for your request. I have a lot. of work to do, and stock is only a side hobby. If your request requires the purchase of a costume I don't have or am not in the process of making, we have a donate option, too.

On the Matter of Unrestricted-Stock

I recently founded a club called Unrestricted-Stock. I joined forces with another deviant, O-Uaglione. We may be recruiting new staff eventually, too.

The ENTIRE idea is this: I have folders of stock just sitting there, not being used. I didn't want to post it at Amarli-stock or this account, because both accounts have tight restrictions. I felt it was time I released some of what I had for artists to use freely. As I own the copyrights, it is my prerogative. My friends agreed, and so U-S was born. Everyone that submits there must sign a license agreement. It is open to already existing unrestricted stock accounts who wish to promote themselves through us, and for restricted stock providers who have stock they wish to submit as unrestricted but do not want to confuse artists. The stock found there from those otherwise restricted stock art providers could have a home at our account, in which they RECIEVE FULL CREDIT FOR. There is ABSOLUTELY NO art theft tolerated here. It CANNOT be resold, and we are NOT profiting from anything. Since I started stocking here, I have recieved one generous donation, and one purchase from mellowbutterfly.com. If I were here for the money, I would have to be some kind of idiot to stick around. I stock because I love art and I like helping people.

The account exists as a resource for people for whom the earlier description fits. To help make things easier on artists, we ask that we be notified when any of the stock is used, and we will contact the original creators so that they can fav the work and see what is done with it. So far, everyone that has submitted understand how this works, and when it comes to defending stockers...who else to defend them but a fellow stocker? It is required that the artist credit and contact so that the original artist recieves FULL credit.

If it's one thing I am NOT about, it's how many page views I have. I could not care less. I am here to provide stock to artists that wish to use it. The obvious alternatives are: if you don't want to use the stock, don't. And if you don't want to contribute any unrestricted work, don't. I certainly won't hate anyone for it. You use what you have to to create your work, and if you stock you can set your own rules. It's your right.

I would appreciate support.

I'm proud of my work, and I will continue doing it as I see fit. I will continue to provide stock here, and amarli-stock, and unrestricted stock until I grow too weary of it.
