Something to remember: In Shards, anyone can wake up one day in an awakened state. It can happen at puberty. It can happen just because. No one really knows why, but it does.

Werewolves in Shards are shamanistic in nature, and most hail from Native American bloodlines. There have been a few reported sightings around the planet, but it seems this race would prefer to blend than be noticed. The world isn't ready for change yet, but it is changing nonetheless.
