Okay is: People who have galleries, but prefer to have their stock in one place so that they can find it to use it later. Perhaps they've just opened a gallery and are a tad nervous about adding their own work just yet. (within a reasonable time frame.)
What is NOT okay: People who request sexually "exciting" stock from stock artists. I don't care if you have your own gallery or not. Unless you know the stocker very well, and know they won't take offense, I'd suggest not doing it. I'm tired of seeing blank galleries and hundreds of favs of the same type of stock.
In the world called real life that we are all living in outside of the internet, comments and notes like that are called "Sexual Harassment". I don't have to take it in real life, (it actually results in pain if you happened to be near me. Last guy that tried wound up at the bottom of a flight of stairs. He never did it again. ) AND I *Nor the other stockers with this problem* DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE IT FROM YOU HERE, EITHER.
I encourage the admins to think about this problem a little bit. People are getting away with comments here that would have a lawsuit slapped on them in real life.
I have read that it is "Inevitable". If you put your picture on the internet, any number of perverts out there can do what they want with it. The difference is, these perverts are known, because they've commented. And once they've made themselves known for abusing stock, what faq states that we must then accept sexually explicit (or fetishist) remarks? I'm running out of places to block people.
Taking down stock only hurts the artists. But, it is preventing me from uploading certain kinds of stock in the future until something is done about Stock Collectors.
If you are a stocker, or support this cause, let people know by posting this in your journal. If you are a new stocker and are recieving these requests, you do not have to do them. Be sure to check out the Stock Forums for what's happening in the Stock Community. Do not list usernames of people harassing you in a public place. Blocking them is basically all you can do at the moment. If you want support in this matter, you will find it here and other stockers who share this opinion.
Comments are allowed, disagree or agree. I'm entitled to my opinion, and I'm not taking pervy requests, thanks.
HUZZAH!!! I would leave a longer comment but you already know I agree with you. Suffice to say, people suck and stock collectors are freakin' creepy. I don't understand fetishes of dead looking girls or feet fetishes. Its just not right...(Kelly of course is another story ).

Hi Hun
I agree with you 100 % and for people like me who use Artistic nudes in the images I like to work the LAME or crude comments only limit the number of Stock artists who will place any of the artistic nude images in their galleries. As you stated it hurts the stock artists as well as users of the stock images. Great work on the stamp and it is posted on both of my accounts Jeep
GO YOU! My photomanipulation days would be over without talented stock artists! =cookiekitty-stock has been blogging about this, too. I'm with you guys!

Great stamp. It's to-the-point in its message, and your comments say what all stock artists and the decent artists who use stock for their works are thinking.
Huzzah! This is definitely going in my stamp collection, dude.

I agree with you so much, and this is the only reason why I do not have nude stock in my gallery. I would love to have images of musculature and such, but there are too many creeps out there. Maybe the one solution for us is to have exclusive stock for certain artists? We make journals saying what stock we have available exclusively for the serious artist.
Hells yes! I have no idea how to use stamps but this one rawks! I have had plenty of ick comments and even thought about taking my nudes down.....until I got like 100 awesome comments from people who actually respect the art. Well Put Ash!

This feature was brought together by my watchers and hours of browsing galleries for inspiring pieces that have gone unnoticed. Here are the results, one hundred beautiful photographs with under one hundred favorites. Let's give these artists the attention they deserve <3
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
